The application due date is October 14, 2026 at 2 PM. Return/deliver/mail with postmark your completed application with all required documentation to Plymouth Redevelopment Authority, 26 Court Street,Plymouth, MA 02360 by October 14, 2026 at 2 PM.

Applications must be delivered or mailed with postmark by the due date and time listed here. Applications postmarked by the due date and time must be received no later than 5 business days from the due date and time.

Informational sessions about the lottery will be held on: Sept 15, 2026 at 5:30 PM at Dennis Police Station Training Room, 90 Bob Crowell Rd, South Dennis, MA 02660. This location is accessible. Call 508-398-2231 x1275 by September 8, 2026 to request reasonable accommodation. You do not have to attend a session to apply for the lottery.

To be considered for these units you must apply using the 209 Main Street Application and submit a completed application with all required income documentation attached by October 14, 2026, 2 PM to the Plymouth Redevelopment Authority, 26 Court Street, Plymouth, MA 02360. To qualify households must earn no more than 80% of the Area Median Income. The current income limits are: $79,100 for a household of 1, $90,400 for a household of 2, $101,700 for a household of 3, and $112,950 for a household of 4. Other requirements apply.

Successful applicants shall be ranked by lottery. The lottery will consist of all qualified applications received by the due date and time listed in this advertisement. After the lottery, the lotteried list shall be used to select the tenant for the affordable rental units. Qualified applicants not placed in the units shall be placed on the wait list for future affordable housing vacancies at this property in the order from the lottery. After the waitlist expires the affordable housing vacancies shall be filled using the Cape Cod Ready Renter General waitlist.

Households with a rental voucher are encouraged to apply. This is an Equal Housing Opportunity.

The Starfish Story:
Making a Difference, One at a Time

A young man is walking along the ocean and sees a beach on which thousands and thousands of starfish have washed ashore. Further along he sees an old man, walking slowly and stooping often, picking up one starfish after another and tossing each one gently into the ocean. “Why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?” he asks. “Because the sun is up and the tide is going out and if I don’t throw them further in, they will die.”

“But, old man, don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it! You can’t possibly save them all, you can’t even save one-tenth of them. In fact, even if you work all day, your efforts won’t make any difference at all.” The old man listened calmly and then bent down to pick up another starfish and threw it into the sea. “It made a difference to that one.”
